Henrico County Public Schools is participating in the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Summer Food Service Program, offering breakfast and lunch to children during the summer. The federal program is administered in Henrico by the HCPS Department of School Nutrition Services.
Meals will be available for anyone 18 or younger at 29 HCPS and community sites Monday through Thursday in June and July. Parents and guardians are not eligible to receive meals. Meals are not available to go and must be consumed on site. They will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
Breakfast will be served from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m., while lunch will be served from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Exact times will vary depending on the location and will follow meal service for students who are enrolled in summer programs. All sites will be closed Thursday, June 18, and Thursday, July 2, in observation of the Juneteenth and Independence Day holidays.
