YAY KIARA LEWIS! Kiara Lewis, a master barbering teacher at the ACE Center at Virginia Randolph, is today's "Yay of the Day" honoree! Superintendent Amy Cashwell honored her recently.

"This teacher goes above and beyond — not just in delivering lessons, but in creating a classroom environment where students feel seen, supported and inspired. Her commitment, heart and the difference they make in the entire school are just a few other reasons she deserves this praise.
"She builds a classroom culture where students feel safe to ask questions and take creative risks. She knows when her students are struggling. I have seen her work with students individually during lunch, before class and after class."
