Yay of the Day

YAY BEVERLEY DALE! Beverley Dale, office supervisor at Moody Middle School, is today's "Yay of the Day" honoree! Superintendent Amy Cashwell honored her recently.

YAYWORTHY:

Nominator Marine Vozar said,

"She consistently goes above and beyond to support our staff and students, offering personal care, exceptional organization, and a steady, solutions-focused presence that keeps our school running smoothly every day. Specific examples of times Beverley makes a positive impact include when she walks substitutes through the building to ensure they feel supported, or when she pauses her own work to help a colleague in need. She consistently models professionalism, empathy and reliability. She is such a special person!"

And nominator Matthew Jones said,

"Beverly Dale is the backbone of our entire school. Bev is one of the first people our staff thinks of when they encounter a problem or need information. Bev handles a variety of jobs at every moment and does it with a positive attitude and a radiant smile. Bev is always trying to guide our professional sides and is committed to our personal sides as well. The smallest window into the versatility and reliability of Bev is one day she was consoling a grieving student, while directing a substitute with keys and information, and talking to a parent on the phone. Each person felt seen, heard, and welcomed all at the same time. The attention to detail in this moment is what she gives to everyone around her. Bev is always able to pivot and provide the personal touches to enhance the lives of our students, parents, and our staff. Bev is truly the reason our building is able to function as smoothly as it does and all behind the scenes. She is truly a master class in her job and as a human as well."

Thank you for all you do, Beverley Dale, to make a positive difference and move HCPS forward!
