YAY NIKKI SCOTT! Nikki Scott, a kindergarten teacher at Springfield Park Elementary, is today's "Yay of the Day" honoree! Superintendent Amy Cashwell honored her recently.

"Nikki has been a dedicated teacher at Springfield Park since we opened in 1996!! She is a calm and caring teacher who loves her students, plans new and exciting lessons every year and has amazing classroom management skills.
"For 30 years, Nikki has set the bar high at Springfield Park. She’s a creative and caring teacher who has high expectations and holds her students accountable. Nikki often carries more than her share of weight for the team and continually seeks new fun ideas and activities for the children. She spreads her cheer throughout the school and is friendly to all. She’s a model HCPS employee who will be greatly missed at The Park!"
