With students and staff back from Spring Break rested and ready for the home stretch of the 2025-26 school year, Henrico Schools still has several opportunities for prospective employees looking for a rewarding role in the school division for the rest of the year — and beyond!

The school division will host its monthly job fair on Wednesday, April 8, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the HCPS Parham Road offices (1910 E. Parham Road). Interested job seekers can talk with HCPS representatives across various departments about opportunities in maintenance, transportation, school nutrition and instruction. Many of these positions will carry over into the 2026-27 school year, and some may offer opportunities during the summer.

In August, Forbes named HCPS one of Virginia’s top employers for the third straight year. Our employees have benefitted from increased salaries, professional learning opportunities and fulfilling careers supporting students across Henrico County. Other reasons to consider joining our team include:

  • With the addition of the current year’s 6% raise for all HCPS employees, the division’s teacher salaries have increased by 54% over the past decade. The increase, which included a step increase and wage adjustment, was the largest across-the-board school employee raise in the region.

  • The school division’s one-of-a-kind Career Ladder program helps employees grow professionally, earn credentials and increase their pay without leaving their current role.
