YAY TRACY LONG! Tracy Long, principal's secretary at Hermitage High School, is today's "Yay of the Day" honoree! Superintendent Amy Cashwell honored her recently. 🎉
YAYWORTHY:
Nominator LaKeta Vaughan Waddy said,
"She comes into the office every single morning with a smile on her face and a warm 'Good morning' that instantly sets the tone for the entire building. Mrs. Long has been with the county for over 10 years and has been an absolute powerhouse at Hermitage High School as our principal's secretary. Tracy makes sure our administrative team wants for nothing and keeps Dr. Jackson’s schedule — and everything connected to it — running smoother than most people think is even possible.
"Tracy is truly the heartbeat and backbone of this school. From securing meeting spaces, helping parents connect with administrators, assisting students with essays, motivating students on tough days, preparing discipline packets, to simply checking in and making sure everyone is OK —she does it all, and she does it with grace, kindness and a beautiful smile. Hermitage runs better because of Tracy Long. She makes people feel supported, seen and taken care of every single day.
Thank you for all you do, Tracy Long, to make a positive difference and move HCPS forward!
