YAY JENNIFER IYANDA! Jennifer Iyanda, a family advocate at Lakeside Elementary, is today's "Yay of the Day" honoree! Superintendent Amy Cashwell honored her recently.

"Ms. Iyanda goes above and beyond every day to support our students, families AND staff. Whether it's communicating with families at the car loop or on tardy duty, arranging our Food Truck Fridays, reaching out to business partners for support, or serving as an integral part of our Attendance TEAM, Ms. Iyanda is the true definition of 'ADVOCATE.'
"When we closed due to heating issues, Ms. Iyanda helped communicate with families and ensure our students made it home safely. After everyone left, Ms. Iyanda stayed late to gather gifts for our students from business partners and contacted families to arrange pick up."
