YAY NIKEVA GUNTER! Nikeva Gunter, a maintenance assistant at The Campus of Virginia Randolph, is today's "Yay of the Day" honoree! Superintendent Amy Cashwell honored her recently.

"Recently during our 2-hour delay schedule amidst inclement weather and slippery conditions, she skillfully provided invaluable assistance to a truck driver in our parking lot. A huge mac truck was stuck in the mud so deeply that the rear portion of our parking lot was blocked off. Nikeva gave directions that enabled the truck driver to steer his truck out of the mud to safety. It was truly remarkable to witness a former female truck driver step up and provide strategic guidance in a challenging situation."
