YAY RAE TILMAN! Rae Tilman, a fifth grade teacher at Short Pump Elementary School, is today's "Yay of the Day" honoree! Superintendent Amy Cashwell honored her recently.

"One time, I was crying at recess, and she came over and made sure I was OK and lifted my spirits. She brings patience, passion and genuine care into everything she does. She listens, encourages and always finds a way to make learning feel meaningful! Her kindness creates a safe space, and her belief in others helps them believe in themselves."
