YAY JALISSA WASHINGTON, NURA SURITA, ELENA WHITLOCK AND RICHARD LUNDY! These four Fairfield Middle School employees are today's "Yay of the Day" honorees! Superintendent Amy Cashwell honored them recently at Fairfield.

"Recently, an incident occurred where a vehicle ran into a building at Fairfield Middle School. Mr. Lundy witnessed the incident. Nurse Washington, along with Mrs. Whitlock and Mrs. Surita, jumped into action to assist the driver, who was apparently suffering a medical emergency. EMS was contacted and the driver was taken away.
"The wife of the driver later visited Fairfield to let the staff know they saved a life! Her husband did indeed suffer a massive heart attack and underwent surgery. We here at Fairfield are very proud of our colleagues who assisted!"
