YAY LISA BURNHAM! Lisa Burnham, a school counselor at Colonial Trail Elementary School, is today's "Yay of the Day" honoree! Superintendent Amy Cashwell honored her recently at Colonial Trail.

"She went above and beyond to help students feel welcome and adapt to a new environment. She encouraged my child to go out of her comfort zone, she helped me feel as ease knowing my child has a good support system. She is a trusted advisor and very approachable. Every day, my kid comes home and always is happy because she gets to spend time with Mrs. Burnham."
