YAY JACQUELINE FIELDS! Jacqueline Fields, an office administrator at Fair Oaks Elementary School, is today's "Yay of the Day" honoree! Superintendent Amy Cashwell honored her recently at Fair Oaks.
YAYWORTHY:
Dr. David Belton, Fair Oaks principal, said,
"When you think about the heart of Fair Oaks Elementary School, Mrs. Fields immediately comes to mind. Throughout her 25 years of dedicated service, Mrs. Fields has held numerous roles, each marked by her unwavering commitment to excellence and her genuine care for students, staff and families. She consistently goes above and beyond to ensure that the daily operations of our school run smoothly — whether assisting a teacher with a PowerSchool issue, giving a student a special birthday treat from the office, supporting a parent or sitting with a child as they await pick-up.
"One memorable example of her compassion occurred when a student was struggling to transition to the next activity. Mrs. Fields softly sang a song to help calm the student, then offered a fidget for comfort. That simple act of kindness made such an impact that the student now visits her daily for their morning check-in. This moment perfectly reflects the connection, joy and dedication Mrs. Fields brings to our Cardinals each day. Mrs. Fields approaches every situation with professionalism, grace and a warm smile. Her reliability, compassion and steadfast support make her an invaluable member of our school community. We are deeply grateful for her continued service and for the countless ways she contributes to the success and positive culture of Fair Oaks Elementary School."
Thank you for all you do, Jacqueline Fields, to make a positive difference and move HCPS forward!
