YAY HEATHER DEDIE! Heather Dedie, a family and consumer science teacher at Holman Middle School, is today's "Yay of the Day" honoree! Superintendent Amy Cashwell honored her at Holman.

"Mrs. Dedie deserves a 'Yay of the Day' because of how comfortable, bright and enjoyable she made class feel. She is such a good teacher to talk to and can make her class comfortable. Mrs. Dedie is an outstanding teacher and I believe that she deserves this acknowledgement."
"An example of a time when Mrs. Dedie made an positive impact was the first day of school. Other than the other teachers, she introduced herself in a way that made everyone laugh and feel comfort."
