YAY ASHLEY WALKER! Ashley Walker, an assistant principal at Henrico High School, is today's "Yay of the Day" honoree! Superintendent Amy Cashwell honored her recently at Henrico.

Nominator Lisa Meade said,
"She embodies the core value of Belonging. Her warm smile greeted my family with care and compassion. She told my ninth grade daughter, 'it’s a pleasure to meet you.' She assured my daughter that she would be fine and if she needed anything to let her know as her ninth grade principal. My husband and I felt valued and respected.
"I was locked out of PowerSchool. She immediately assisted and contacted the subject matter experts to assist as well. All hands were on deck. The recovery was smooth. I was up in running in no time. I felt valued."
