The County School Board of Henrico County, Virginia, will hold the following meeting:
Thursday, Aug. 14, 2025
3:30 p.m. Work Session
The meeting will take place in the auditorium of the New Bridge Learning Center, 5915 Nine Mile Road, Henrico, Virginia. Closed sessions will be held during the work session as deemed necessary. School Board meetings are open to the public and interested citizens are invited to attend.
Please note there will be no in-person public forum at this meeting. However, citizens are invited to submit written comments in advance using an online form, which must be submitted by noon on Wednesday, Aug. 13, by going to the School Board webpage at https://henricoschools.us/school-board/ and clicking “Connecting with the Board.” The rules that apply to public comment at Board meetings also apply to written comments. This includes, but is not limited to:
Stakeholders must provide their name and HCPS school affiliation, if applicable.
Stakeholders shall use commonly accepted rules of courtesy, respect, civility, and decorum.
The use of obscenity or defamation is strictly prohibited and shall be ruled out of order.
Written comments submitted in accordance with the above requirements will be published as part of the meeting record. However, all written comments are subject to FOIA. Stakeholders should take this into consideration when considering including sensitive information about specific students or individuals in their comments. Written comments will be distributed to the Board members before the meeting and posted for public view in BoardDocs, where all meeting materials are archived.
