YAY KEVIN SCHATZ! Kevin Schatz, principal of Colonial Trail Elementary School, is today's "Yay of the Day" honoree! Superintendent Amy Cashwell honored him recently at Colonial Trail.

"Since my son has been at Colonial Trail, Principal Schatz has helped our family immensely. My husband has been battling cancer for three years, and our son has struggled dealing with it. Principal Schatz would show our son genuine love and take him with him. He would sit with him in his office and actually reach out to me in a world that feels heartless. Our son is doing much better, but I think about Principal Schatz often, and he’s a blessing to CTES. A very brilliant and decent person."
