HCPS Summer Academy offers students in elementary, middle, and high school a unique learning experience designed to spark curiosity, strengthen skills, and support academic success. From credit recovery, targeted remediation, or hands-on career exploration, Summer Academy provides meaningful pathways for growth.

For the 2026 session, Summer Academy will operate across 27 HCPS locations: six elementary schools (plus 2 elementary Extended School Year/ESY programs), eight middle schools, six high schools, three ACE centers, 1 ESL Newcomers Academy, along with online summer instruction for Henrico Virtual Academy students.
