Dreamer families and staff are invited to attend a Family Information Session Dec. 18 at 6 p.m. at Highland Springs Elementary School

At its December 14 meeting, the Henrico County School Board passed a resolution to conclude the division’s partnership with An Achievable Dream at the end of the 2023-24 school year. Board members noted that with the expansion of instructional programs and enriched social-emotional learning and wrap-around supports, HCPS staff are providing instruction that is equally challenging and designed specifically to meet to the needs of HCPS students.

An Achievable Dream programs will remain in place for the rest of the current school year. To assist in planning for the 2024-2025 school year, the division has compiled answers to frequently asked questions.  HCPS administrators and school principals will provide updates on transition plans throughout the school year through ParentSquare and family newsletters.
