Summer Career Camps for rising students in grades 6-12
The HCPS Department of Workforce and Career Development presents 2025 summer career camps for students who will be in grades 6-12 for the 2025-26 school year.
General Information
2025 Tuition is $50 per student for Summer Career Camps. Only Henrico County residents may enroll. Students do not gain industry-standard certifications as part of the Summer Career Camps program unless noted otherwise.
Summer Career Camps have an attendance requirement. Once a student misses three days of a credited class, they will be removed from the class. No credit is earned, and tuition is forfeited.
Transportation by HCPS will begin on the first day, June 2. Bus schedules will be sent via email before the first day of class. Ensure your email address is clearly and correctly written on the registration form. Students will be picked up from and returned to the elementary school you list on the registration form.
Classes are filled on a first-come/first-served basis.
Applications will not be processed before March 17. Rising ninth-12th grade students will be able to receive 0.5 credits from the three-week course. Rising students in grades 6-8 will not receive credit.
The withdrawal deadline is June 2, 2025, by 3 p.m.
