The primary focus of Henrico County Public Schools’ Division of Human Resources is to attract, develop, and retain a diverse, skilled, motivated, and high-performing team of education professionals and support staff. Human Resources staff is dedicated to managing a culture and environment where every employee contributes effectively and productively toward achieving the division’s goals and objectives.

Within the Human Resources Division are various offices responsible for essential functions within HCPS:

Department of Human Resources: Handles talent acquisition, staffing, new employee onboarding, teacher licensure, employee grievances, Title IX investigations and compliance, employee relations, and personnel policy compliance.

Benefits Office: Manages employee benefits to ensure comprehensive and competitive packages for our staff.

Data Systems Support Office: Provides oversight for critical functions related to human resources information systems, contributing to the efficient operation of HCPS.
