YAY CARTER REILLY! Carter Reilly, a coordinator of assessment and remediation at Douglas S. Freeman High, is today's "Yay of the Day" honoree! Superintendent Amy Cashwell honored her at Freeman.

YAYWORTHY:

Nominator Kirsten Morvan said,

“Carter Reilly is more than a testing coordinator, but an advocate for multilingual students and helping them find a sense of belonging at Freeman High School."

“Ms. Reilly is one of the masterminds behind our ML Crew and Equity Action Team. She strives to make sure that all students have access to an education and school resources. She also helped develop ML 101 which gives students new to the country the opportunity to explore Freeman, the English language and school technology before jumping into classes. On top of all of this, Ms. Reilly also runs the SCA and goes above and beyond to help anyone at the drop of a hat. She is the true example of what it means to be a 'Freeman Family For All.'"

Thank you for all you do, Carter Reilly, to make a positive difference and move HCPS forward!
