YAY KENNIECIA HARGROVE! Kenniecia Hargrove, an exceptional education teacher at Rolfe Middle School, is today's "Yay of the Day" honoree! Superintendent Amy Cashwell honored her recently at Rolfe.

"Ms. Hargrove goes above and beyond for her students and colleagues. She is always willing to help, share her expertise and look for solutions to help guide her students through the day, whether they are dealing with academics or behaviors. Ms. Hargrove ensures the situation has a positive impact on her students.
"When I came to Rolfe, I entered into a new role and didn’t know anyone in my building in the Ex Ed department, I felt a little overwhelmed at times, Ms. Hargrove jumped right in when I asked questions or needed a sounding board on hard days. She has shared best practices, encouraged me through iTeach and has become a friend. I watch Ms. Hargrove daily support students with care and understanding. She has even played pivotal in the growth of one of my caseload students growth in English. She is truly a gem at Rolfe Middle School and I’m grateful for her knowledge and kindness."
