For our second year, Colonial Trail is collecting plastic recycling to donate to the NexTrex Recycling program. Check out the video below to learn more about how plastic film can get a new life as decking and furniture, all built right here in Virginia!
You can send clean plastic items (acceptable list here) to Colonial Trail any day of the week with your Cub or drop off in our front-porch bin on the weekends. We have a group of young men who help gather, weight, and get the bags ready for transport every three weeks.
Keep up with how much we have collected here! Once we reach 1000 pounds donated, Trex will donate one of their benches to Colonial Trail!
