The HCPS Evening School of Excellence serves high school students who:

• Have experienced academic difficulties or personal challenges.

• Do not have room in their schedule for all required classes.

• Are at risk of not graduating on time.

The program provides an opportunity for students to complete coursework in evening classes and recover credits needed for graduation. The instructional program addresses the learning styles of students through smaller classes, more individualized attention and differentiated teaching strategies. For the Spring 2024 session, all core academic classes will be virtual.  Please note that the Drivers Education elective course will be taught in person, onsite, at the ESOS school location.  

*An additional fee applies for the Behind-the-Wheel portion of the Driver’s Education course.  The B-T-W fee ($100) is collected by the driving instructor. Students enrolling in Online PE must have a current physical. Students who are not able to provide an acceptable copy of a current physical to the instructor on opening night will be required to drop the course the following day.
