In lieu of shadowing, specialty center applicants who receive an acceptance offer to the Center for the Arts will have the opportunity to participate in CFA Experience Day. On CFA Experience Day, students who have been selected to attend the CFA program will spend a half day at Henrico High School, experiencing what it is like to be a CFA student! CFA Experience Day gives prospective students an overview of the CFA program through engagement activities, including presentations about the CFA program; performing arts performances and visual arts galleries; tours of the CFA facilities and Henrico High School campus; and hands-on participation in workshops and masterclasses with current CFA students. One parent or guardian must accompany each prospective student.
