• Utilize science and engineering practices

• Explore the particle nature of matter, organization and use of the periodic table, physical and chemical properties and changes, and energy transfer/transformations

• Explore properties and nature of waves, electricity and magnetism, and motion and the forces acting on them

• Examine Earth, moon, sun relationships and our place in the solar system and Earth’s atmosphere and weather

• Advanced science course work requires additional complex application of the content. This can be demonstrated through additional lab work, student research projects or an equivalent
