Andrea Brinkley with Hungary Creek Middle, Short Pump Middle and Pemberton Elementary

YAY ANDREA BRINKLEY! Andrea Brinkley, a school psychologist at Hungary Creek Middle School, Short Pump Middle School and Pemberton Elementary School, is today's Yay of the Day honoree! Superintendent Amy Cashwell honored her at Hungary Creek!

YAYWORTHY:

Nominator Maryam Hadji said,

"She has exceptional dedication, compassion, and unwavering support for students, their families, and teachers.

"She consistently goes above and beyond to advocate for students, always provides thoughtful guidance and taking the time to explain everything clearly to parents so they feel informed and supported. We recently had a meeting for one of our students and the stepmom had many questions because she was not familiar with the special education eligibility process. Mrs. Brinkley patiently answered all her questions, explained each step in a way that was easy to understand, and made sure she left the meeting feeling informed and supported."

Thank you for all you do, Andrea, to make a positive difference and move HCPS forward!
